The Stockholm stock exchange soured considerably on Tuesday. The day was marked by a number of quarterly reports, as well as an acquisition by MTG, which is buying a game studio. The trend was similar to that of the leading European stock exchanges.

At the close, the OMXS30 index was down 2.41 percent to 2,514.23. Shares worth around SEK 20.3 billion were traded on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

The best performance among the exchange's major industrial sectors was in consumer staples with a rise of 0.1 percent. At the other end of the scale, commodities and industrials were at the bottom and both fell by 3 percent.

Among the leading stocks, which are included in the OMXS30 index, Sinch rose 2.1 percent while Saab was up 0.9 percent. Kinnevik was the worst performer, down 5.9 percent, while Electrolux was down 5.1 percent.

MTG announced that it is acquiring the game studio Plarium Global for 620 million dollars and rose 9.3 percent.

Astra Zeneca presented higher-than-expected revenue and adjusted profit for the third quarter. At the same time, the company raised its sales forecast and announced an investment of SEK 38 billion in the United States. The share rose 0.2 percent.

According to sources to Swedish Radio Ekot, the majority owner Geely is considering reducing its ownership in Volvo Cars. However, Geely itself has denied this information. The share fell 4.2 percent.

Vehicle safety company Autoliv raises its quarterly dividend and extends its share buyback program. It also announced plans to hold a capital markets day this summer. The share rose 0.6 percent.

Assa Abloy acquires the Italian company IXLA, which manufactures laser and color matching systems for cards and passports, with revenues of around SEK 150 million. The Assa share fell 4 percent.

Nuclear technology company Studsvik is implementing a cost savings program in light of lower earnings levels in 2024 for the Fuel and Materials Handling (FMT) business area. The savings are estimated to amount to SEK 15-20 million annually. The share fell 2.9 percent.

Coor's CEO AnnaCarin Grandin has decided to leave her role for new challenges outside the company. Grandin will remain until May 10 next year at the latest. The share fell 5.3 percent.

Pharmaceutical company Moberg Pharma increased sales and improved ebitda slightly in the third quarter. The share rose 5.9 percent.

Game development company Enad Global 7 fell 5.6 percent on the stock exchange after reporting lower sales and adjusted ebitda earnings in the third quarter compared to the same period last year. Operating profit showed a loss against the previous period's profit.

On the analysis front, it is noted that Affärsvärlden lands in a neutral advice for Thule after the major acquisition of Quadlock. Thule fell 2.9 percent.

Dagens Industri analyzes that there is an imminent risk that the white goods company Electrolux will have to carry out a new issue if the market does not turn quickly. Electrolux fell 5.2 percent.

Affärsvärlden gives a neutral advice for Bahnhof and states that it sees Bredband2 as a better choice in the category. Bahnhof rose 1.5 percent.
