Quiet Monday on the Stockholm Stock Exchange, OMXS30 index down 0.1 percent
At the close, the OMXS30 index was down 0.07 percent to 2,512.45. Shares worth around SEK 36.3 billion were traded on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
The best performance among the stock exchange's major industrial sectors was technology with a rise of 2.23 percent. At the other end of the scale, energy was at the bottom with minus 1.19 percent.
Among the leading shares, which are included in the OMXS30 index, Nibe rose 6.3 percent while Sinch was up 3.9 percent. Saab was the worst performer, down 3.1%, while Swedbank was down 1.2%.
The rise of heating technology company Nibe was supported by major shareholders Märta Schörling Andreen and Sofia Schörling Högberg, who bought 5.87 million shares on Friday, November 22, a deal worth around SEK 270 million.
In the investment company Industrivärden, several major transparency transactions were noted. Tore Browaldh's foundation has sold shares for SEK 752 million, while the investment company Lundbergs has bought shares for SEK 537 million. Lundberg's CEO Fredrik Lundberg, who is chairman of Industrivärden, has also purchased shares for SEK 215 million for his private portfolio. Industrivärden's C-share rose 1.2 percent.
Chinese electric car shares rose on the stock exchange after reports that progress is being made in negotiations between the EU and China to reach an agreement to replace EU tariffs on imported Chinese electric cars. Volvo Cars rose 2.8% on the Stockholm Stock Exchange. It was previously reported that the company, which has production in China, is discussing a price undertaking with the EU to avoid punitive tariffs.
Acquisition conglomerate Storskogen rose 3.7 percent after a buy recommendation from Dagens industri.
Pharmaceutical company Sobi climbed 3.0 percent. Danske Bank raised its recommendation to buy, from previously keep. The target price is set at 340 kronor.
Nordea's share was up 0.1 percent. Morgan Stanley raised its recommendation to overweight, from equal weight. The target price is set at 14.20 euros.
Deutsche Bank raised its recommendation for industrial company Alfa Laval to buy, from hold. The target price was raised from SEK 474 to SEK 533. The share closed unchanged.
The exchange operator Nasdaq is making several changes to OMXSB, the OMX Stockholm Benchmark Index, with effect from the opening of trading on Monday, December 2. Among the shares added to the index are Alleima, which increased 2.2 percent, NP3, which rose 1.6 percent, and Bravida, which increased 2.4 percent. Among the shares excluded from the index, Solid Försäkring fell by 3.5 percent.
