The Stockholm Stock Exchange ended Tuesday on an upward note, following the cheerful start to the week. The performance mirrored that of leading European stock exchanges.

At the close, the OMXS30 index was up 1.00 percent to 2,573.70. Shares worth around SEK 18.0 billion were traded on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.

The best performance among the exchange's major industrial sectors was in industrials with a rise of 1 percent. At the other end of the scale, real estate was at the bottom with minus 0.4 percent.

Among the leading shares, which are included in the OMXS30 index, Boliden rose 3.6 percent while H&M was up 3.2 percent. Sinch was the worst performer, down 3.1 percent, while SBB B was down 2.7 percent.

Boozt adjusted its full-year forecasts downwards after Black Week, but saw record Black Friday sales this year. The stock rose 2.8 percent.

Assa Abloy acquires a Finnish company with sales of SEK 110 million. As a result, Assa rose 1.5 percent.

Essity rose 0.6 percent after reiterating its financial targets communicated in June.

Technology trading company Bergman & Beving has acquired Labsense in Finland. The company is described as a distributor for several leading global suppliers of technical laboratory equipment, which it sells to public and private companies in the country. The company has EUR 3 million in sales and good profitability. The share fell 0.4 percent.

Biotechnology company Hansa Biopharma and Genethon have initiated GNT-018-IDES, a Phase 2 study in patients with Crigler-Najjar syndrome who already have antibodies to adeno-associated virus (AAV) vectors. The study will evaluate the efficacy and safety of a single intravenous administration of Genethon's gene therapy GNT-0003 after pretreatment with imlifidase. The share price fell 0.1%.

Medical technology company Vitrolife's CFO Patrik Tolf leaves his position due to personal reasons. He will be replaced by Helena Wennerström until further notice. The company has initiated a process to find a permanent alternative. The share fell 1.5 percent.

On the analysis front, it is noted that Citigroup initiates coverage with neutral advice and a target price of SEK 174
for Beijer ref, which rose 0.7 percent.

Affärsvärlden has a buy recommendation for car manufacturer Volvo Cars, which fell 3.8 percent. Afv also gives a buy recommendation for Heimstaden, albeit a speculative one. Heimstaden rose 4.6 percent.

Kepler Cheuvreux believes that a gradual improvement will take place at live casino developer Evolution already in the fourth quarter and initiates coverage with a buy recommendation and a target price of SEK 1,400. The share rose 0.7 percent.

Deutsche Bank initiates a Buy rating and a target price of SEK 210 for Medicover, which fell 0.2 percent.
