More and more Swedish companies may locate their production in the United States instead of Sweden if it turns out as everything indicates: that Donald Trump becomes the country's next president.

Teknikföretagen makes this assessment because Trump wants to introduce high trade tariffs.

"It is clear that it will be less advantageous to export to a country that has high import levels. The incentives to instead locate production in the US will be stronger," says Erik Spector, chief economist at Teknikföretagen to Ekot.
