STUTTGART (BOERSE STUTTGART GMBH) - Euwax Trends on the Stuttgart Stock Exchange

Investor trends

1. discount call warrant on TSMC (WKN MJ3DQA)

TSMC published its financial results for the quarter ended 30.09.2024 on 17.10.2024. The chip giant generated revenue of USD 23.50 billion, which represents an increase of 36.27% compared to the same quarter of the previous year. The TSMC share price reacted with a jump of almost 14% and reached a new all-time high of USD 212.57. However, profit-taking subsequently led to a fall to 198.48 US dollars. On Euwax, the setback was used to generate strong demand for a discount call warrant on TSMC.

2. discount call warrant on Beiersdorf (WKN DQ0D67)

Beiersdorf shares fell by around 4% this week and are currently trading at 127.05 euros. A positive analyst commentary from Warburg Research, which leaves the rating at "Buy" with a target price of 180 euros, does not change the current downward trend. The analyst firm is optimistic that the consumer goods group will reach the upper end of the annual target range. Investors from Stuttgart are betting on a trend reversal and are buying a discount call warrant on Beiersdorf.

3. knock-out call on DAX (WKN JT9MA9)

After a subdued start to the week, the DAX is unchanged today and is trading at 19,430 points around midday. According to market observers, a lack of impetus from the reporting season is currently causing caution. The latest phase of weakness is seen as a pause for breath before a possible attack on the 20,000 mark could be launched, according to HSBC. According to the experts, the upward trend of the DAX remains intact and a knock-out call on the index is being actively traded.

Euwax Sentiment Index

In a rather calm market environment, the DAX is treading water today and is trading at 19,430 points at midday, unchanged from the previous day. The quarterly reporting season has so far provided little impetus, causing sentiment to deteriorate slightly and the Euwax Sentiment Index is quoted at -18 points.
