SAO PAULO (Reuters) - Brazilian transport infrastructure operator CCR won an auction on Thursday to operate highways in southern Parana state for 30 years, proposing a toll road tariff discount of 26.6%, according to an announcement from Brazil's B3 stock exchange.
The concession includes 570 kilometers (354 miles) of highways and is expected to require investment of some 10 billion reais ($1.7 billion).
CCR beat out competitors Patria and Grupo EPR, as well as a consortium formed by asset managers 4UM and Opportunity.
