(Alliance News) - Webuild Spa has inaugurated the immersive "Evolutio" room at Villa Zito in Palermo, dedicated to infrastructure, as part of the Women Economic Forum.

The installation, adapted from the Roman exhibition at the Ara Pacis Museum, features a visual journey spanning over a century of Italian infrastructure achievements--from dams and subways to the Autostrada del Sole and high-speed railways. Special emphasis is placed on the Palermo-Catania-Messina high-capacity rail corridor, part of the trans-European TEN-T network, where Webuild is engaged in six additional projects.

This initiative highlights Webuild's role in transforming mobility and fostering development in Southern Italy and Sicily, with an estimated 7,000 direct and indirect jobs created at its regional construction sites.

The immersive room will be open to the public free of charge until November 9.

Webuild shares closed up 0.8% on Thursday at EUR3.51 per share.
