The Department of Agriculture said it will be publishing its back data for export sales in the month of October and first two weeks of November.
In a schedule posted by the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service, the agency said it will publish the daily sales of grains by private exporters on Friday at noon eastern time--the same time that the USDA will also be publishing its monthly World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report, which is much anticipated by grain traders and analysts.
The daily sales data will span from Oct. 1 to Nov. 13, the USDA said. Additionally, it also provided a schedule of its weekly grain export sales report releases for the rest of the year, with two reports per week set to be released starting in December. By January 2026, its weekly export sales release will be current, the USDA said.
The agency on Thursday released export sales data for the third and fourth weeks of September, its first export sales report issued since the beginning of the 43-day government shutdown.
The impact of the report's release on grain futures trading in Chicago was limited, said Randy Mittelstaedt of RJO Futures in a note, due to the age of the data. Traders are watching for tomorrow's WASDE report to see if the U.S. harvest produced the record amount of grains previously expected for this marketing year.
CBOT grain futures are up in morning trade, with most-active corn futures rising 0.6%, soybeans climbing 1%, and wheat up 0.3%.
