The service sector union Verdi intends to expand its warning strikes at Deutsche Telekom. Nationwide strikes, rallies, and various industrial actions are scheduled for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, Verdi announced on Monday. The union aims to increase pressure regarding its demands in the current round of collective bargaining. Over the past few weeks, more than 32,000 employees have already participated in work stoppages. Verdi is demanding a 6.6 percent pay increase over a twelve-month term, as well as an annual bonus of 660 euros for union members.
