BANGKOK, May 19 (Reuters) - Thailand's cabinet has approved a consumer subsidy scheme supporting about 43 million people, the finance ministry said on Tuesday, part of the government's efforts to alleviate the impact of the Middle East war. 

o The scheme will subsidise 60% of the prices of certain consumer goods.

o The government will offer 1,000 baht ($30.68) per person per month from June to September.
