Euro Stoxx 50 futures are up 0.39 percent, FTSE 100 futures are gaining 0.35 percent, and DAX futures are rising 0.32 percent.
US S&P 500 futures are down 0.21 percent.
Truck and bus manufacturer Volvo's North American operations have reached a settlement with the CARB authority in the state of California. The settlement will have a negative impact of SEK 1.8 billion on operating profit in the second quarter.
Live casino developer Evolution's board has decided on a share buyback program of up to EUR 2 billion. The program begins immediately and runs until the 2027 Annual General Meeting. The company announced in March that there will be no dividend for 2025.
Private equity firm EQT has been selected by the European Commission and other founding investors as the preferred investment advisor and fund manager for the Scaleup Europe Fund, with a target size of EUR 5 billion.
Heating technology company Nibe reported first-quarter 2026 sales and operating profit in line with analyst expectations. The company expects a stronger second half of the year compared to the first half.
Technology trading group Lagercrantz reported fourth-quarter EBITA for the broken fiscal year (January to March 2026) that beat analyst expectations. The dividend also came in higher than expected, while sales were in line with consensus.
Kopparbergs Bryggeri reported higher earnings in the first quarter compared to the same period last year. Sales rose slightly while pre-tax profit more than tripled. CEO Peter Bronsman stated that the year has started positively and that development is in line with both budget and expectations.
Immunology company Hansa Biopharma has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with SERB Pharmaceuticals for the development and commercialization of Idefirix in Europe and the MENA region. The total value of the agreement amounts to EUR 115 million. Hansa will initially receive EUR 110 million, equivalent to SEK 1.2 billion, plus an additional EUR 5 million upon full EMA approval for the drug.
The latest news from the Middle East is that US President Donald Trump has stated he is postponing a planned military strike against Iran following pleas from Middle Eastern leaders. Oil prices are falling on Tuesday following Trump's latest comments.
The US is also extending a sanctions waiver allowing the purchase of Russian seaborne oil for another 30 days to assist energy-vulnerable countries affected by the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
