The Stockholm Stock Exchange opened Thursday's trading session with lower prices, marking a pullback after yesterday's strong gains.

Defense company Saab is on the rise following a statement from U.S. President Donald Trump, who has called on American defense companies to halt their dividends and share buybacks in order to instead increase their investments.

After 30 minutes of trading, the OMXS30 index was down 0.59 percent at 2,945.91. During the session, the index has fluctuated between a low of -0.63 percent and a high of -0.17 percent.

The broader OMXSPI was down 0.58 percent.
