NEW YORK (dpa-AFX) - Canadian investment bank RBC has reiterated its "Underperform" rating on Beiersdorf with a price target of 70 euros following the release of quarterly sales figures. The consumer goods group missed already tempered expectations, analyst Wassachon Udomsilpa wrote in an initial reaction on Tuesday. Once again, surprisingly weak growth at Nivea was cited as the primary driver behind the underperformance in the Consumer segment. While Beiersdorf confirmed its outlook for the division, and the La Prairie brand delivered solid sales growth fueled by continued strong momentum in China, the mass market is expected to remain challenging./rob/gl
