Balco Group has appointed Jani Backlund as the new Managing Director of Riikku Rakenteet Oy. He will assume the position on February 1, 2026. Jani brings more than 20 years of experience from Ruukki Construction, part of SSAB.
Most recently, he served as Business Director, where for 13 years he held full P&L responsibility for operations with annual revenues exceeding EUR 100 million in Finland and in export markets. He has extensive experience in sales, production and business development, and has successfully led efficiency and transformation initiatives resulting in significantly improved profitability.
